David has been with Provident Funding for over a decade and is the company's longest tenured and highest producing Mortgage Consultant. He has funded over $3 billion in mortgage loans and is consistently ranked amongst the top producing originators in the nation.

David comes from a family of mortgage and real estate professionals covering the Southern California residential market for over 40 years. Having been raised and mentored by industry veterans, mortgage financing is naturally a second language for David. David graduated from Pepperdine University with Summa Cum Laude honors, double majoring in economics and philosophy. Outside the office, David’s two children keep him on his feet.

David is devoted to each of his client's transactions, starting with a concise and transparent overview of loan terms to a smooth and punctual closing. Through his commitment to each client and expertise on all things mortgage financing, David aspires to turn each new client into a client for life.

David is an active real estate investor and avid follower of mortgage rate market news, but is still searching for the elusive ‘Crystal Ball’ to tell him what mortgage rates will do next.

Having lived in southern California for nearly 2 decades, Los Angeles has always felt like home for Linda. Not wanting to part with the sunny weather and beaches, Linda attended USC and graduated with a major in Business Administration, concentrating in Finance. During her time as part of the Trojan family, she immersed herself in the diverse LA culture and joined Alpha Phi Omega, a co-ed community service fraternity. On her free time, Linda enjoys volunteer work and traveling.

After joining Provident’s Retail team in 2013, Linda quickly gained a wide range of experience in almost every position - from processing to servicing to obtaining underwriting certification. Her unmatched performance in previous positions led her to become a Mortgage Consultant where she continued the trend. In the past several years, Linda has helped the division as a top producer and since becoming a Mortgage Consultant has funded over 900 loans for $233 million.

As a Mortgage Consultant, Linda's goal is to find the loan product that best fits each client's financial needs. With new mortgage rules and regulations, Linda understands the unique challenges that customers face when refinancing or purchasing a home for the first time. Bearing that in mind, Linda strives to eliminate all uncertainties and concerns by educating each customer and providing a transparent loan process from start to finish. With her expert guidance and strong work ethic, Linda is the Mortgage Consultant you can trust and depend on!

Mark Marshall was the son of a blue-collar single parent, who instilled a hard-working attitude in his children. Watching his father pursue his own education while struggling financially, Mark in turn worked very hard and graduated salutatorian at Mohave High School in Bullhead City, AZ in 1998. Mark earned a full tuition waiver to Arizona State University, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in finance in 2002.

Upon graduating from college, Mark found that he disliked the way most finance companies make money through charging their customers as much as possible. Mark considered working for various government agencies before running across his perfect match in Provident Funding. Provident focuses on providing customers the best mortgage rates and experience through the loan process. Leveraging technology, experience, product, and people has allowed Provident to benefit millions of borrowers.

Mark started out his career with Provident Funding in 2002 as an underwriter quickly evaluating transactions and determining what was needed to proceed. Mark then moved to into management and grew his office to the top office in the country. Mark enjoyed his experiences in working on the back end of the mortgage process but realized he could use his talent being a loan originator and guiding borrowers through the complete loan process.

With his background and experience, Mark can quickly determine what options are best for a customer and guide them expertly through the loan transaction. Mark specializes in refinances where he can help borrowers lower their rates and recoup any costs they incur. When borrowers are looking for cash out, he can review their current loan terms and determine if a new first mortgage is in their best interest. Mark is very ethical and will point out other options that may be better aligned with the customer’s goal. Although he has specialized in refinances, Mark also has an extensive knowledge of the ins and outs of home purchases. Mark will calculate what you can currently qualify for, as well as go over how to qualify for more if needed. Mark is incredibly grateful for his opportunity to work at Provident Funding and will be happy to assist in your financing needs.

Aaron Wyman grew up in the small town of Caribou in northern Maine and currently resides in Charlotte, NC.  Aaron graduated from the University of Maine at Presque Isle with a degree in Business Management and started his Provident career in Sacramento, CA.  Outside of his commitment to Provident he spends his free time with his wife and young son enjoying everything North Carolina has to offer. 

Growing up in a small town gave Aaron the motivation to always work hard because he realized very early in life that hard work would be the only way he could take full advantage of opportunities presented to him.  Aaron has worked at Provident Funding since 2005 and during the last 12 years has held various roles within the company. Those roles include Underwriter, Closer, Tax Analyst, Insurance Analyst, Loan Servicing Analyst and Escrow Analyst.  With that being said, Aaron has vast experience and is extremely diverse in the loan process. His background with Provident Funding ensures that he will be able to thoroughly answer any question that arises.

For Aaron, he believes that customer service is the key to success. He is committed to ensuring the loan process is an enjoyable experience. Aaron knows from personal experience that obtaining a new mortgage or dealing with potential issues that arise with your home can be frustrating. However, Aaron is confident that due to his industry experience that he can do everything to ensure that every customer is happy and provided with the best loan product to meet their needs. Aaron promises that he will always answer the phone with a smile and a positive attitude and he looks forward to working with you to help achieve your goals.

Jeff graduated cum laude from Utah State University and has a degree in both business and agribusiness. He has lived in the western U.S. his entire life and has had many opportunities to work on farms and ranches as well as learned at a very young age the value of hard work and determination. This has carried into every aspect of his life.

In his years in the mortgage industry he has worked as a mortgage underwriter and has also held a variety of management positions. These positions have helped expound his knowledge and understanding of the mortgage process. He looks forward to helping each and every customer with their home financing needs.

Kurt grew up in southern Maine where he enjoyed spending time in the many outdoor activities Maine has to offer.  Kurt attended the University of Maine in Orono graduating cum laude with a degree in Financial Economics.

Kurt joined Provident Funding shortly after college in 2004 and has gained experience in almost all aspects of mortgage lending.  He spent most of his career working with mortgage brokers helping them to become more knowledgeable and more effective consultants to their borrowers.  When Kurt received the opportunity to work in Provident’s retail division he was excited to finally work directly with the clients.  His unique background coupled with his desire to master his craft allows him to efficiently problem solve and advise clients with their best interests in mind.  He maintains a strong working knowledge of underwriting guidelines and pricing concepts to ensure he’s in the best position to serve his clients.

Honesty and integrity are at the core of how Kurt approaches life.  His objective with mortgage consulting is to make the process transparent and comfortable for the client.  Kurt wants to make certain each borrower feels great about the loan they are receiving and that all their questions are answered thoroughly. 

In his spare time Kurt enjoys exercising and spending time with his 2 young children.  He is also a sport enthusiast and still loves to learn; you will often find him reading up on physics, philosophy and theology in his spare time to challenge his perspectives.

May grew up in Los Angeles and has resided here almost all of her life. After deciding she couldn’t leave the perpetual sunshine, she attended University of Southern California and graduated with a bachelor's degree in International Relations Global Business, with an emphasis in Management. During her time at USC, she enjoyed doing volunteer work at a local hospital and joined Alpha Kappa Psi, a business fraternity. In her free time, May loves to travel with family and friends and spend time outdoors with her two dogs.

May has been with Provident Funding for 7 years and started her career in the Loan Servicing Department. As a quick and dedicated learner, she rapidly worked her way up to the West Coast Team Lead position, where she perfected her customer service skills and expanded her expert knowledge of the mortgage industry. As such, she's devoted to finding solutions for her clients. Once she transitioned to the Retail Division, she continued to build her knowledge as a loan processor, effectively closing hundreds of refinance and purchase transactions in an average of 26 days.

May's philosophy is to make the mortgage process as quick and transparent as possible. She understands the frustrations that may be associated with obtaining a home loan with other lenders and is dedicated to making the mortgage process with Provident Funding seamless by handling a large amount of the behind-the-scenes work herself. May’s goal is to provide superior service by staying available for her clients and addressing their questions and concerns as quickly as possible. With her diverse background in the mortgage industry and her ability to communicate clearly, May hopes to dispel any negative connotations that may be associated with mortgage lending.

Patryk Sobotka is the son of immigrant parents who raised him in the “windy city” of Chicago, Illinois. Patryk attended Illinois State University, where he earned a degree in finance and graduated with honors in 2010. His career with Provident Funding began immediately thereafter, when he joined the team in May 2010.

Over the course of an 11-year career, Patryk has excelled in several areas within the organization. His experience spans across both origination and servicing divisions. During his tenure, Patryk has been involved in customer service, compliance, and team leadership, which gives him the edge in recognizing a customer’s financing needs and providing superior service throughout the loan process. Patryk takes great pride in ensuring his customer’s financial goals are achieved, while maintaining elite standards for efficiency and precision.

During his days off, Patryk enjoys traveling to new cities, visiting with friends and family, and dining out at the trendy restaurant around the corner. If there is a “best burger in town” then you can be certain that Patryk has established himself as a “regular” customer. Patryk is a proud, yet humble fanatic of the Chicago Bears football team, and is hopeful that Chicago will have its championship soon.

Jon Scherer grew up in Southern California and attended UCLA where he earned a BA in International Development before finding his way to Provident Funding in 2010.  Jon quickly became a trusted Senior Mortgage Consultant and also originated commercial construction loans for a Provident affiliate.  After 6 years with the family of companies and more than 2000 loans originated, Jon relocated to Australia for his wife’s job, during which time he earned an MBA from the University of Adelaide and worked as a winery cellar hand, sommelier, and as a Management Accountant for a multinational wine and spirits company. He is happy to be back working directly with clients to assist with their mortgage needs and has the breadth of professional experience and education to help solve any problem. 

When not assisting Provident customers with their mortgage inquires, Jon enjoys watching Lakers and UCLA basketball, cooking, a nice bottle of wine, hiking, and traveling (just not on the basketball court).

Kurt comes from a small town in Central Pennsylvania and has held an interest within the finance industry throughout his life. After high school, Kurt enrolled in Clarion University and was extremely active within University, becoming a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and eventually getting elected to the executive board. Kurt was also elected to the executive board of other organizations such as the Financial Management Association, Inter-fraternity council and American Marketing Association. Kurt graduated from Clarion University with a double major in personal financial planning and corporate finance, along with a minor in economics.

Joining Provident Funding in 2010, Kurt was quickly promoted into the retail origination team. Throughout the years, Kurt has successfully originated over 3,000 residential mortgages for just over $760 million. Kurt has been ranked among the top loan originators (across the United States) based on funded volume, through the Scotsman Guide.

Amongst one of the most experienced originators within the team, Kurt is focused on providing the best all-around financing experience for each of his clients. It is his goal to eliminate any uncertainties or hesitations that come along with the financing experience. With the help from various tools and options Provident Funding offers, Kurt will make sure you get the best loan that suites your needs!

Susan grew up in Southern California and graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree in business economics with an emphasis in accounting and a minor in sports management. Her curiosity in finance and affinity for helping others led her to pursue a career in the mortgage industry.

Susan joined Provident Funding in 2011 and started in the loan servicing division as a servicing analyst. Her attention to detail and drive for pursuing client service excellence propelled her promotion to the retail division, where she helped with lead assignment, lead generation, prescreening of loan applications, and underwriting. During the housing market crash in 2013, she leveraged her client service excellence to help the bankruptcy division with clients who were impacted and had filed for bankruptcy. She excelled in her new roles and was quickly advanced to a leadership role in the bankruptcy division, where she re-built the department from the ground up. She designed the entire training program, trained current and new members on her team, updated the policies & procedures, managed enterprise relationships with the attorney network, streamlined operations for her team by developing excel templates/programs, and working with developers to build new technology.

Susan’s success in redesigning and transforming the bankruptcy division led her back to where she first started at Provident Funding: the retail division. Now, she serves as a Mortgage Consultant. Having excelled in her various roles at Provident Funding, she understands the loan origination and loan servicing processes inside and out. She understands that obtaining a home loan is a massive undertaking that can be frustrating at times, and is dedicated to making the process as streamlined and transparent as possible for her clients. With her vast background and experience, she has a breadth of professional knowledge to answer any question and solve any problem.

In her free time, Susan enjoys spending time with her family, cycling, traveling and experiencing different cultures, trying new foods, and indulging in a nice bottle of wine. An avid sports fan, she also enjoys watching the Lakers, Dodgers, and [unfortunately] the Chargers (hopefully this is the year!).

Anthony is the son of immigrant parents from the Caribbean who came to this country in search of better opportunities while dreaming of a better life for their family. Growing up in the Upper West Side of NYC as the second of five siblings in an immigrant household, from a young age Anthony was instilled core values such as hard work, grit, humility, perseverance, and doing right by others, which are ideals that continue to define him today.
 
Starting his career at Provident Funding in 2020, Anthony quickly built a reputation for going the extra mile in taking care of his clients and for his detail-oriented approach to problem solving. He goes above and beyond to educate customers on the current market and the loan process to help them make the best decision for their specific financial situation. He is resolved to creating a pleasant loan experience for each client and is determined to make each one a Provident customer for life. Always providing a transparent and honest opinion, when Anthony devotes himself to you, he is all in!
 
Now living in the Miami Beach area, Anthony enjoys regularly going to the beach when not assisting his Provident customers. He and his wife Keyla are also health and fitness enthusiasts often enjoying new foods and activities together such as jogging or group classes.

Lindsay is originally from the Pittsburg, Pennsylvania area. Growing up she was very active in school activities such as cheerleading, gymnastics, and community activities.  After high school, Lindsay enrolled in Clarion University where she majored in Marketing and Finance.  While at Clarion, Lindsay was an active member of Delta Zeta sorority and also was a member of the university cheerleading squad.

Joining Provident in 2020 Lindsay gained a reputation as being a team member to count on and willing to go the extra mile in helping her clients.  Lindsay is known to always be willing to jump on a call to educate customers on their options and to guide them through the loan process: helping them in every way.  Lindsay's goal is to make the loan process an enjoyable one for her customers, giving them full transparency, and ensuring them that when they work with Provident Funding they will become a customer for life!

Now living in the Sarasota Florida area, Lindsay enjoys going to the beach, working out, and spending time with her new puppy Bobby and kitty Macy. When not working, Lindsay and her husband Joe enjoy the outdoors and running races together.
